The Muslim conquest of Europe was taught in public schools when I grew up. Military history courses taught about the formation of Israel when I was in high school. George W. Bush is older than I am.
I served during the Iranian hostage crisis, the ‘83 war in Lebanon, and Desert Storm.
As I have said and still maintain, there are have been only three possible ways to keep repeating the “Religion of Peace” drivel in view of the Islamic attacks around the globe.
Lack of education, stupidity, or lack of integrity.
The first two are out with Bush.
I suppose his defenders could alternately be stupid or uneducated rather than totally lacking integrity, but they have still earned ridicule at this point.
Here is a clue: Islam is a unified political, social, and religious system rigorously maintained by violence.
If you can't disprove that statement, you automatically concede my point.
Also, it might behoove you to learn actual history of the second world War. Rather than anti-US tripe concocted by far left history revisionists.
The extensive Japanese spy rings Roosevelt feared actually did exist. We found that out after the war.
And the Humane treatment internees in the US got was a far cry from the fate of foreigners under the Japanese. I would suggest you read up on their internment camps, but your posts do not lend any confidence in your capacity to grasp the information.
Am I a little prickly on this matter? Well I knew one of the women who had been used for sexual relief by the Japanese when I was in the Philippines back in 1982, and I met one of the Korean comfort women back in 1984.
You have fully earned this post.
Yea, yea, yea... I actually agree with your assessment of Islam, just not your flip and ignoranant condemnation of W. I have no use for the Japs either, but Roosevelt’s internment policy was not the right thing to do, certainly not the way it was done.
I would suspect that I could run circles around you when it comes to historical issues, but we’ll leave that alone. Meanwhile, why don’t you just go behoove yourself.
You’ve fully earned... Well: you know
Post for us all your brilliant alternative to the I internment policy, taking into account our lack of Japanese linguists at the time...
Now that you have conceded my point about George Bush and his defenders being true.
I don’t care if you like it or not.
There is a time when politely ignoring problem people is inappropriate.
I certainly agree with that. But that doesn't make either Bush worthy of praise. HW's integrity? Read my lips.
