The ISIS-inspired terrorist who was shot dead after menacing a cop and an FBI agent with a large, military-style knife planned to team up with an accomplice and use the blade to behead a police officer, law enforcement sources said Wednesday.
“We believe the intent was to behead a police officer,” an official told the Boston Globe. “We knew the plot had to be stopped. They were planning to take action Tuesday.”
Usaama Rahim, 26, was fatally shot about 7 a.m. Tuesday in a CVS parking lot in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood after he refused orders to drop the weapon.
Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said the suspect had been under 24-hour surveillance and that an alleged accomplice, identified as David Wright from nearby Everett, Mass., was also arrested after the attack.

What info? What evidence?
Nothing has been presented to indicate the guy was an actual terrorist.
This is what we do know
A man charged with no crime was standing at a bus stop when approached by the FBI and BPD, who had no warrant to arrest him. Within minutes, he was dead
If he was so dangerous and being monitored, why was there no arrest warrant out for him? The feds don’t mess around with arrest warrants and show up with overwhelming force to prevent something like this.
Something smells fishy from the BPD
I'm guessing that even some guy that looks at various websites and makes claims of “something needs to be done” with regards to cops or the government could be suspected as a terrorist. (Like Freerepublic!?)
Although it sounds like they had specific threats of him wanting to behead a cop - hence the surveillance.
Of course he wasn't shot for being a suspected terrorist. He was shot for lunging at the cop with a large knife in his hand.
If there was a specific threat, why no warrant?
Why no overwhelming force?
Why question him at 7 AM at a bus stop?
That is not how the FBI operates
Well, add his name to the list of “Innocent blacks, murdered by police in the genocide against people of color”.
Beats me. Maybe there weren’t specific threats, maybe they didn’t have enough evidence to arrest him. Maybe they were following him to catch others in a possible cell. But then they saw something (like a large knife) as he is about to step onto the bus and figured it might be a good idea to see what he is up to.
