yeah, but at 40k i am not buying one.
Certainly not in the first year of the technology. Give it 5+ years to iron out the kinks and fix recurring problems and the idea is solid. Usually they are lemons for the first 2-3 years though.
My next car and the only new one for me ever will be an Elio.
