They're not "practicing on us." They're running urban combat drills in an abandoned school. So, the military could either a) spend huge amounts of money and time to build a similar structure on post, or b) utilize an existing structure. No question the communication with the local folks of what's about to happen needs work, but ya'll are going apeshit over some blanks, a few flashbangs, and an idiot reporter.

I stand by that. I don’t want it. These things always begin as just a small item and before you know it someone jackass decides to take it to the next level and so on. Metal dectectors become full body scans at airports and patrolling gangs of “VIPR” units pulling over automobiles at random. How about if they decide to see how effective “free fire zones” work in an urban or open suburbian environment too. That OK also??
