Ah, but if God is merciful and a constitutional president takes office, it will be time to prosecute those who tried to deprive citizens of this country of their constitutional rights by hauling them into these kangaroo courts.
There must be a price paid (and it should be personal as well as political). If you just undo the damage without penalty, so that the persons and agenda are no worse off than if they hadn’t tried to rape your civil rights, then where’s the disincentive to do so. You try and you succeed or you fail, but in no case do you end up worse off than if you hadn’t tried.
