Get over it. The Pats didn't beat the Rams because they “taped” their walk through. The Pats beat the Rams because Belichick completely out coached Mike Martz.

Touchy, touchy. I said nothing about that stuff, but the fact that you read it that way tells me that you know they misbehaved. Such misbehavior is wrong even if it would not change the outcome of the game.

My own take on the game actually includes a lot of other factors besides the the taped walked through, but I was more interested in showing that even a Rams fan who has no use for the Patriots can let Cruz make his joke without being affronted.

I’m not touchy. I’m just sick of the myth that the reason the Pats beat the Rams was because they cheated. The Pats smacked the Rams in the mouth. I totally agree Mike Vrabel should have been called for roughing the quarterback when he smashed Warner’s face mask on his interception to Ty Law. The same could be said of Charles Woodson during the “tuck rule” call in the divisional round. He smashed Brady’s face. It happens. The Pats DB’s certainly got away with some hits that were not exactly clean. But the truth remains, Belichick completely out coached Martz. If Dick Vermeil was still the coach, I’m sure the Rams would have won.
