The likely scenario will be sublimation and ablation due to high winds and zero humidity.

Glaciers require precipitation, which comes from ocean, forests or jungles upwind from the area of concern. Kilimanjaro in Africa is losing snowpack due to stripping of nearby foliage. No precipitation and any glacier will eventually vanish.

Climate change could cause more vegetation upwind, or less, no one has any way of knowing. The title of the article is technically accurate, but it doesn’t convey any useful information.
