Ive never seen anything like the lawlessness that the authorities have perpetrated on these people and now to add insult to injury they are trying to cover their own tracks in exchange for bond.

That opens up a can of worms.
Now, just why in the world would a judge cut a deal like this? Hmmm, I’ll have to think about this for awhile.
There are not enough public defenders to represent those who’ve already requested them (75+). There have already been articles where the city has acknowledged that prosecuting these cases will take tremendous expense.
They are ripe for lawsuits for overcharging possibly 100 or more individuals.
Now they are in CYA mode.
The whole thing's turning into a cluster duck.

Maybe these bikers should’ve looted and burned a few buildings down like in Baltimore where no one was arrested for doing so.
