Say what? Who is this "American Thinker" who wrote this? An atheist? A liberaltarian? At any rate, it must be someone who doesn't know much about God and the Bible. GOD DEFINES MARRIAGE, and its been known for "thousands of years." The Bible has been around for thousands of years. Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

What you say is true, but the Bible wasn’t written with the hand of Adam, so marriage was not defined (as we define “definition”, lol) for millenia before the Bible was written.
God had defined it in our natural law, but it was not part of man’s law until lawyers were invented, which is what the article’s author is talking about.
