Personally, I think she would have been better served to leave the area at a high rate of speed.
An example of the fact it is not always necessary to kill someone just because they pose a genuine threat.
Hope the cops had body cams on them. At least if the perp is black. Nobody cares if a white guy is mistreated by the cops.

Kudos to the police for a job well-done. They successfully subdued the suspect without the use of lethal force. Give them both a raise, we need more such cops capable of doing so.
