Forensic Analysis of Satellite Images Released by the Russian Ministry of Defense
Bellingcat ^ | May 2015 | Bellingcat

This is a recent report put out by Bellingcat which shows that the Russkies photoshopped their alleged evidence of Ukrainians shooting down MH17.

This had been debunked through other means, for example, that the Ukrainian SU25, which was one of the possible culprits for this, is a ground attack plane that is too slow and can't reach the altitude the Russkies were claiming. Subsequently the Russkies got into a Wikipedia war trying to upgrade the SU-25 on the internet in order to fool stupid people.

Nevertheless, if you still need more, this report goes into great detail showing that the Russkies photoshopped the imagery they presented to the global community. And, with this, we can safely conclude that not only are the Russkies liars, but they're incompetent idiots who can't do anything right. Here is the summary, click link for more. The document is quite large:

Summary:

The subjects of the Bellingcat investigation team’s forensic investigation were two of six satellite photos released by the Russian Ministry of Defense in an international press conference following the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 on 17 July 2014 in eastern Ukraine. The images were subsequently published on the MoD’s official website.

One of the pictures, Picture 5, was republished on 1 August 2014 on the official web page ofthe MoD as a higher-quality version called Picture 5-analytics. This image was also analyzed.

The satellite photos were presented to the public at an international press conference on 21 July 2014 and published simultaneously on the Russian MoD’s official website.

The forensic analysis conducted by the Bellingcat investigation team clearly and undoubtedly demonstrates that the dates of the satellite photos have been falsified, and that the photographs were digitally modified using Adobe Photoshop CS5 software.

And yet there were many very active people on FreeRepublic defending this Russian bullsh*t (or maybe just one person managing multiple user names). Pravda.ru, Sputniknews.com and truth-out.org seem to be common sources nowadays on the topic and also even indirect articles from antiwar.com and code pink.

As many have shown the paid posters work on teams of three and quota is 130 posts per 12 hour shift. That makes 390 posts per day. I have noticed one recent sign up that posts Pravda.ru, Sputniknews.com and truth-out.org. All far left crap.

Don’t be such a primitive! Just because the person saying “Death to America” all the time is saying also the current president is crap does not make him your ally.

It doesn’t matter to the zombified Russian public one iota.
It’s like the blue pill/red pill from Matrix, and most people will not choose a bitter truth over a sweet lie.

I caught one FRiend here cutting and pasting Russia Today a few weeks ago. He never replied when I busted him. They are mostly quiet now. Putinists will be more active when the Russian invasion of Ukraine heats up again this summer.
