I do not know if he told anyone in the GOPe, but I think it will come to light that SOMEONE in the GOPe was suspicious SOMETHING was going on.
Between Gingrich, Livingstone, Foley, Duke Cunningham, the legal matters of Delay, Perry, and Walker, as well as the Christie investigation, I just don’t see Republicans geting any sort of ethical “advantage” over Hillary.
The American voters, for the longest time, have viewed the Republican party as a bunch of buffoons and hypocrites. The Hastert matter is just going to reinforce this image.
I believe that you are just wrong. Both Clintons are pretty much straight up crooks and traitors. DeLay, Perry and Walker are all victims of politically motivated legal action initiated by democrat opponents. I am not as familiar with Walker’s case as I am with DeLay and Perry. Those two were both indicted by the extremely liberal Austin DAs who run the state public integrity unit and have the authority to investigate and prosecute any public official in Texas. It took Ronnie Earle going to something like 6 grand juries to finally find one that would indict DeLay. Perry was indicted for vetoing the funding on the public integrity unit because the current Austin DA Rosemary Lehmberg refused to resign after her very public and messy DUI arrest. There is video of it out on the net, she was very drunk and very mean to the officers arresting her. I think Perry did the right thing and I see her indictment of him as pure retaliation. I believe that was also was the case with DeLay. I suspect that Walker’s problems were also politically motivated retaliation and I doubt he did anything wrong.
