At this point the corporatists in congress are not concerned with the details of the agreement. They are reasonably certain that Obama will be transparent in the negotiations, and they can influence the details prior to the actual signing by the trade representative and Prez.

For now, they are most concerned with two issues:

1. Investor Protections versus protections for labor(union), environment, and social welfare. The corporatists are insistent that the investors be protected from "creeping taxes" that are masquerading as a labor regulation or environmental regulation.

2. Certainty that the Arbitration Panel has the authority to resolve disputes that may arise over these protections, and that the internal judicial systems are required to "honor" the decisions made by the Arbitration Panel.

“They are reasonably certain that Obama will be transparent”

Can anyone point to where Obama has ever been transparent?
