I totallly agree with yu and I would feel exactly like you. It is insane how minor the penalties are for kiling someone with your car, versus a knife, handgun or bare hands. They need to be on par with 2nd degree murder/homicide, and not any less than regular manslaughter.
With multipliers if they are distrscted, texting, and/or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If under the influence i’d and over legal limits, i’d have them up on 1st degree murder because they had intent to get behind the wheel when they knew they had taken drugs or alcohol.
Some California cases are being tried for murder, for driving under the influence, and killing somebody.
