I just spent a week in San Diego and one thing that still unnerves me is to have a motorcycle riding the lane line go by me at 20-30mph faster than the stream of traffic. It scares me...and I worry about seeing someone go down in front of me..or hitting one changing lanes. I witnessed an accident just outside the Pt. Loma Navy Base where a motorcycle hit a left turner when he cut around a stopped car. He ended up in a couple pieces and it wasn’t pretty. I will pray for this Chief and hope that this circus lady spends a lot of time in prison.
Back in the 1970s the son of a friend of my mother, a young man in his 20s, was riding his motorcycle on a San Diego freeway when a man began pursuing him in his car until he drove him off the freeway—he crashed and was killed. I don’t know what happened to the driver of the car but I was told that some of the witnesses were upset enough to give statements to the police, so maybe he was prosecuted.
