You’ve maybe never been in a NYC subway car where only half of the seats are taken because of a chain of man-spreaders sitting in every other seat.
I don’t see how anything short of arrests will change it—it has long been illegal to take up more than a seat on the subway.
It used to be NYC transit cops would tap a fellows like these on the side of the knees with a baton and tell them to close it up followed with a long stare. No need for an arrest or citation 99 out of a hundred times,
