White House spokesman Josh Earnest, during his daily briefing, declined to comment specifically on the allegations against Hastert but said, "There's nobody here who derives any pleasure from reading about the former speaker's legal troubles at this point."

If you weren’t so nasty for nothing then nothing would have been said. Good God you act like liberals for goodness sake. Calling people out for the dumbest things. I feel like I am dealing with my teenagers when talking with you.

Calling people out for the dumbest things.

Well, "Even the straight guys are having homosexual liaisons." is one of the dumbest things I've heard. Glad you agree.

Hey I don’t care if you call me out. However did you really have to type what you did? That is pretty horrible for a fellow FRiend. I’d NEVER say something like that to you. If you disagree with me...fine. Even calling me dumb is better than the horrible thing you said.

Do you mean "napscoordinator is sick and needs major help." ? If that's it, I apologize, I was playing off your comment "America is sick and needs a major help." Being cute, not personal.

It may be the outing of Hastert is the first shot from the Democrats in the 2016 election. What better way to distract the attention of the public from Hillary’s scandals and incompetence than to employ a drip drip strategy of exposing Republican sin and corruption over the next 17 months? Could it be that every few weeks we will see a sitting or former Republican official in local, state or national government indicted for a crime or conspiracy? Add a few outings of homosexual office holders or revelations of affairs by the press to brand the GOP as the party of corruption and vice.

Using the prosecutorial power of government, plus the power of a complicit media, to aggressively attack the opposing political party can be effective on many levels:

1). A parade of scandals over a year and a half may so disgust the GOP conservative base it stays at home.
2). Any independents considering voting GOP will have second thoughts about voting for a party that appears to be more corrupt than the Dems.
3). Officials fearing exposure will be more inclined to “compromise” on issues in hope of avoiding exposure.
4). It distracts the public from the real issues.

I expect we will see a string of criminal indictments and sex stories between now and Election Day. If this strategy causes enough of the GOP base to stay at home, we could see a Democrat president and Congress elected in 2016.

I think he is in trouble for using his own money. Ill-gotten as it may be. That’s the scary part in all this.

You do realize that there was a lot of sarcasm in my post and was not criticizing your viewpoint?

I am so sorry too. It was late and I was an idiot. Have a great weekend and I humbly apologize.

Let me present the truth, please excuse the crudeness to follow. It was a 14 year old boy, the age of a HS freshman, fingerblasting his 4 year old sister. In my world, even when I was 14, this was sick behavior deserving a cell in juvie. When I was 14, in my neighborhood, he might even have been whacked by “Big Vinnie”, named changed to protect the guilty and myself, just in case. In my neck of the woods, anybody who thinks it was much to do about nothing must be some methhead goatroper.

You have no way in the world of knowing just exactly went on...The information I have seen related to touching and fondling. I worked in juvie for many, many years and it took a hell of a lot more than this behavior to send a child to prison...I have no idea of where you live but we don't have methhead goatropers here....you should consider a better neighborhood.

Thank you. Anyone who thinks those incidents were “no big deal” (or normal boy behavior, as I have been told)
shouldn’t be allowed around children.

Remember Larry Craig? The bathroom stall tapper?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/08/29/AR2007082902435.html

“...Foot-tapping, the odd Morse code of anonymous bathroom sex, is “a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct,” wrote airport police Sgt. Dave Karsnia. ...”

Larry Craig caught toe tapping—crucified in media and resigned

Barney Frank’s boyfriend ran a prostitution ring out of Barny’s home—Yawn!!!
