The downfall of FIFA has been going on for several decades. All the fake enthusiasm for fair play and bogus selection of World Cup sites....led to this point. I think a guy could write a 1,000 page book on how FIFA fell apart. The corruption side of capitalism just sat there in full view of the public, and no one wanted to admit the failures.

If UEFA leaves FIFA....the World Cup contract that Russia and Qatar holds are worthless, and FIFA will be sued by both....with FIFA suing UEFA to force them to participate.

Qater is spending several billion on their infrastructure....so it’s money all flushed down the drain.
