“I am against all name calling between republicans. Just stick to boasting about your own positive virtues and traits.”

Me too. PORP both of ‘em.

This is why the GOP looses, by the time all of their candidates get through slinging mud all will be to dirtied to vote for. We don’t see the RATs doing that, to them the agenda is what it’s all about.

I’m starting to think Rand Paul’s own statements are pushing him further and further out on a wobbly branch. Keep it up Rand, your own supporters are not known for their flexibility. They may force you to stay pure (Libertarian) or stay out (of the Presidential Race). There is a swarm or block mentality to many of the Paul’s followers.

True, but you know the Democrats will absolutely slime our nominee and I hope we have someone who will not take it but dish it back to them in a heap.

The GOP has a ‘CATTLE CAR OF CANDIDATES.’

More like a clown car.

As if anyone needed another reason to vote against young Paul. (Too bad, he started out sounding pretty intelligent. )

Democrats and Liberals (is there really a difference?) will of course slime our nominee no matter who it is. But why slime our own? How does that help? I guarantee it will not win you any converts from the candidate being slimed.

actually, while you’re right they should not slam each other - they should indeed slam the entire left very hard....

yes, but it serves no good to slime each other...it doesn’t help either party - and it helps the Democrats down the road.

Dish it back to the Dems starting NOW

In the famous commercial, Greene gives a kid a Coke. I was wondering if the law applies to person-to-person Coke giving or just in restaurants.

Oops, wrong thread. All the money for campaign ads goes to the owners of media companies. Republican candidates are raising money from the people and giving it to media owners. Better to go directly to the people and bypass the media.

I don’t think you understand anything about how campaign money works, or how the media works. Nor how to go to the people without the media....

In fact, I know you don’t.

The media is not our friend in general, but most campaign cash does NOT end up in the hands of the 3 networks, CNN, etc. Much goes to talk radio, much goes to digital media with a conservative slant.

My problem is not your assessment of the media - it’s your lack of understanding of how campaigns and Super PACS work.

Lets face it, Rand Paul is just the crazy uncles son and following in those footsteps.
