Sure, I got it. You made a hypothetical scenario. The pro-American/free speech demonstrators were never a threat to the muzzie house of worship. LEO were there to keep the two side separated during the event.

I think law enforcement were a bit more concerned with a terror attack on the free speech folks. I'd lay odds, there were several officers a roof top in sniper positions scanning the area for suspicious muzzie activity.
