Ive not been to Saudi since about 1996 or so but Ive spent some time in the eastern province. Some of the shi’ite areas are officially off limits to westerners. They get uppity and the guv has to send in aircraft to settle them down a bit. Ive seen the bullet holes on the buildings. Qatif, Hufuf and other smaller towns. Spooky place IMO. From my understanding the shi’ites hate the ruling family. F em all
