One month after the race riots that trashed Baltimore, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said that the city would apply for a $20 million Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant to replenish the "rainy day fund" being used to pay for cleanup and police overtime costs in the wake of the mayhem that she herself is on record as encouraging.

The organizers, the arrested and all known participants need to be sued in civil courts to fund the restoration.

It’s not as if there isn’t ample and direct evidence of her inciting citizens to riot and destroy...(ALL IN THE PUBLIC RECORD)!!! Heck WE watched her say that stuff in REAL TIME!
Nothing much, same old same old. Let the rioters burn the town down, and then send the bill for rebuilding it to the law abiding, tax paying owners of the destroyed property. Coming soon to a town near you.
My guess is that the aforementioned are judgment proof (ie don't have any assets)

Seriously, the comments on that site sound like people believe this is all by accident, mere happenstance, “from the democrats’ policies” when it’s BEEN working for 50 years now.

We see today in Texas communities devastated by floods where people pitch in tirelessly to help one another without question or expectation of glory and money. Contrast this with Baltimore sociology. Same country?

The politicians in Michigan were and are stupid to pick up the tab for Detroit.
And when IL and CA go bankrupt due to public pensions, we’ll all get to bail them out, too.
