An armed biker gang in Phoenix, Arizona, plans to hold a "Draw Muhammad" contest on 29 May outside a mosque at the Islamic Community Center, which was attended by the two Isis gunmen behind the Garland, Texas, shooting.
On 3 May, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi drove all the way from Phoenix to Garland to open fire on those present at the "Draw the Prophet" contest in Curtis Culwell Centre there.
The two were gunned down by the security personnel and a major attack was averted.
Jon Ritzheimer, a former Marine and a vocal anti-Islam activist who is one of the organisers of the "Freedom of Speech Rally Round II", says it has been created in "response to the recent attack in Texas".
"This is not about race or any other side agenda that the Liberals are making it out to be. This is purely 100% a Freedom of Speech Rally. Stand Tall and show that we can PEACEFULLY protest our rights that are under attack. That is the sole cause for this Rally and Islam wants to silence us," Ritzheimer told Vocativ.

Which “gang” is that?
That line alone is worth the ticket cost to attend.
ISIS hacker linked to Garland, Texas attack sets sights on Phoenix Freedom of Speech Rally organizer
Fill up the popcorn bowls, getcha a big gulp, this ought to be fun.
What a poor article. No real info beyond a quote from one “former Marine” (any Marine will tell you there’s no such thing). What “biker gang”? It doesn’t mention any, just says 600 people have promised to attend. Sounds like a lot of people for a “gang”. Then it tells you what time of day, but not what date.
Looks like today in Phoenix will also be interesting.
Today is the day.
From another thread, it is RidersUSA defined as a patriotic biker group (not gang). So, I guess a MC.
My bet is that there will be independents (no club affiliation) and people wearing the colors of a number of different clubs, not just one single club.
We had a group in my area to raise money for charity, and had participation from a dozen or so clubs from the US and Canada, as well as a significant number of independents.
This is a dumb idea. First of all, to announce in advance that everyone will be armed is just asking for the Administration to swoop in and turn it into another Waco. Second, it’s needlessly disrespectful. Suppose a group of [insert religion of your choice here] held a rally in front of your church to stage a hundred recreations of Piss Christ?
We have freedom of speech, and I’m not saying anyone should stop this event. I’m just saying I think it’s a dumbassed idea.
MISSION STATEMENT
Riders USA's primary mission is to create awareness of local, state, and national policy that directly or indirectly impacts the Sovereignty of the United States. We will accomplish this through participation in, and leadership of focused rallies, educational events and other activities. RidersUSA will be known as an organization of law abiding American citizens that believe our country should be governed from within and by the United States Constitution.
Thanks, Rooster!
Yep, we mustn't disrespect those who demand that we submit or die.
You mean like the Westboro people? Who's stopping them?
-PJ
Yes, exactly. I didn’t say they should be stopped, either—they’re free to say what they want, how they want. Doesn’t mean they’re not a bunch of dumbasses, though.
Is there some connection between this kind of activity by motorcycle clubs and the massacre in Waco by government forces???
I don't so. I don't think so.
I need another cup o' Joe.;-)
