Al Sharpton asks if deadly Texas flooding is ‘God’s rebuke’

The Reverend Al Sharpton used this week’s deadly flooding in Texas to ask his radio show listeners if the rains were due to “climate control or is it God’s rebuke?”
At least 17 people died and 40 people are missing after rains that swept through Texas and Oklahoma. Flash flooding damaged over 2,000 vehicles and at least 500 water rescues were needed in the Houston area. Roughly 4,000 structures were damaged in Houston.
One of Mr. Sharpton’s “Keeping it Real with Al Sharpton” listeners said Wednesday that God will “come like a thief in the night” to teach humanity a lesson, but Twitter feedback was resoundingly negative.

Perhaps the Heavenly Father is just quenching a parched thirst.
On another thread about Lake Travis, there’s a time lapsed video showing the lake rise 35ft. In 30 days. The lake needed it. I imagine the folks around Lake Meade would love to have their lake levels rise too.

Actually Al, I would say it was an answer to prayer. We have been in a drought all over West Texas and for over 6 months there have been signs up all over the place, from yards to businesses to pray for rain.....Texans have been praying for rain and rain we got. Our lakes that were going dry are now brimming to the top.
Looks like God blessed Texas with an over abundant answer to prayer....
