my nephew, and my niece’s husband have asked
what was the purpose of their service in Iraq and Afghanistan,
and why they lost close friends there.
Sounds a lot like my generation’s Vietnam.
Vietnam showed to commies that we can kick their asses when we are focused. It stopped the dominoes from falling.
