The race to succeed Senator Marco Rubio as Floridas junior Senator is starting to heat up. Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-6) was the first to officially announce his candidacy and we here at CHQ recommend him to our readers as the conservative choice in the GOP primary and in the November election.
In his two terms in the House Congressman DeSantis has been a leader on key elements of the conservative agenda and on issues that are fundamental to reestablishing American economic growth.
An unapologetic advocate of American exceptionalism, DeSanti has also been a leader on national security. He has been tireless in his efforts to hold Obama accountable for his lawlessness and lies especially in the matters of the cover-up of the Benghazi attack and the Lois Lerner IRS targeting of conservatives.
DeSantis leadership has not gone unnoticed by other conservative leaders and organizations, such as Senate Conservatives Fund President Ken Cuccinelli, Club for Growth President David McIntosh, FreedomWorks PAC Chairman Adam Brandon and Madison Project PACs Drew Ryun who have all also endorsed Ron DeSantis for Senate.
When endorsing DeSantis for Senate Cuccinelli said, "We're proud to support Congressman Ron DeSantis for the Senate in Florida. He's a strong conservative, he has grassroots support, and he can win. If he is elected, he will stand up to the big spenders in both parties and fight to repeal Obamacare, balance the budget, and defend the Constitution. We hope conservatives in Florida and across the country will quickly unite behind DeSantis because we believe he gives us the best chance in this race to elect a principled leader who will fight for our values.

Will he vote with/for or against Mitch and the GOP line on issues...or will he vote for the conservative one? His voters should hold off until he answers specifically and truthfully.
Rubio’s an idiot for giving up his senate seat.
Impressive.
