Marquette University is the latest institution of higher learning attempting to distance itself from a self-inflicted scandal. The Catholic campuss Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) decided to erect a mural honoring one if its apparent heroes: convicted cop killer, escaped convict and wanted terrorist Assata Shakur.
Shakur, aka Joanne Chesimard, was a member of the former Black Panther Party (BPP) and Black Liberation Army (BLA) and was convicted of the execution-style killing of New Jersey State trooper Werner Foerster in 1973. In 1979 she escaped from prison and lived as a fugitive before fleeing to Cuba in 1984. In 2005 the FBI classified her as a domestic terrorist and offered a $1 million reward for assistance in her capture. On May 2, 2013 she became the first woman on the FBIs Most Wanted Terrorist List and New Jerseys Attorney General added another $1 million to her bounty.

Gender and Sexuality Resource Center
of course with $ 1 million if you bring her back to US how do they expect anyone alone to go pick her up in Cuba
Well 1 million make it attractive for a bounty hunter...I’m sure they’re folks in Cuba that would work to that end too.
With the cop hater in the white house, don’t expect this to be an impediment to normalizing relations with Cuba.
Who are the Einsteins at the center who made this decision? Do they still work there? Apparently, it would have been just with the administration, had there been no public outcry.
“Catholic” colleges have gone hard left. Not much better than secular colleges.
