Pedophilia has a specific meaning based on biology. It refers to attraction to children who have not yet entered puberty or reached sexual maturity.
Before/after puberty is a biological/medical concept. “Legal age” is entirely a cultural concept, subject to change as the culture changes. To my mind attraction to young but sexually mature people is a good deal less inherently disordered than to a true child. IOW, being attracted to a 13 year old girl is something very different from being attracted to a 5 year old girl. Both are wrong, in our society, but one is much worse.

In 1880 the legal age of consent in all US states was either 10 or 12, except for DE, where it was 7!
I’m glad our attitudes have changed on this, and I fully support prosecution and punishment of those who break our present laws. But do you seriously contend that a sexual relationship with a sexually mature 13 year old is morally or medically equivalent to one with a 5 year old?
A distinction without a difference. Both are morally the same and deserve the death penalty.
Medically, it depends on the specific act.
