Top reasons why kids today are in college.
1. Everyone else is doing it.
2. My friends/boyfriend/girlfriend is going.
3. Mom and Dad wanted me to go.
4. Party!!!!
5. I want to be able to say I have a college degree (not that it means that I’ve learned anything).
6. I had no idea what else to do after high school.
7. It seems a lot easier and more fun that getting a job.
8. I need to learn all the stuff that they used to teach in high school, but no longer do because I got social promotions.
9. I’m an affirmative action admission and someone is paying for me to go to college so that it looks good for their diversity quotas.
10. I’m just here for the sports and I’m only pretending to be a student.
Good reasons for getting a degree:
1. It’s actually needed for the career you want (science, engineering, medicine, ...)
Maybe there are other good reasons, but I can’t think of any at the moment.
Too many kids are wasting time and money on college when they would be better off getting jobs, starting businesses, or learning a trade.
And gradually, as far as WFLA is concerned, I have taken the highway.
Amen!
That is why Obama occupies the White House, we, as a Nation, have an overabundance of idiots.
EXACTLY CORRECT ..!!!!!!
BTW - Scott Walker left college to turn pro, which is what a lot of people do.
Well ..... welcome to the left’s politics.
Isn't he Charlie Crist's buddy?
Yes, and Starkist works for Morgan too.

Typical - a Huckabee supporter wants to be part of the left.
I suspected as much from the Huckabee people .. they know they aren’t going to win .. so they are willing to play spoiler.
How much is Huckabee getting paid to stir the pot ..????
“John Morgan the ambulance chaser, elitist democrat for the people .
Wasn’t Jonestown founded on that principle? The DNC, John Boy and Jonestown have your interest at heart. Just send MoMoney!
College ..?????
WAKE UP: It’s already GOING ON in KINDERGARTEN.
So let’s build up a list of people that John Morgan has insulted as D#^b Sh&#s:
I’ll start with Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.
The move immediately drew praise from the committees minority Democrats, who declared that the GOP wants to fire the governor from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. They demanded Republicans get even tougher on the agency.
WEDC was part of the governors promise to create jobs. That promise has clearly been broken, said Rep. Chris Taylor, D-Madison.
Republicans countered that Walker proposed removing all elected officials from the board in the state budget he introduced in February. They said he wants to depoliticize the agency and called on Democrats to dial back the rhetoric...."

I’m fully cognizant
But the further up the ladder the worse it gets.
When my kids were in school in the 80s/90s it wasn’t that bad. And they had me to tell them what was bogus education and what wasn’t.
Now? Better home school.
I like Walker as a candidate but I stand by my position that his foray into the WEDC was just crony capitalism and the result is egg on his face, as I would have, and did, expect.
I also stand by the statement that I hope he’s learned from the experience, although your post would imply that he hasn’t. Better to dismantle the agency and get the state out of trying to create specific jobs by offering specific inducements. Create an overall favorable employment environment instead, and the jobs will come, as will the businesses.
Crony capitalism is the GOP’s weak spot. We need a presidential candidate who will disavow it and root it out of the federal government where it is far more insidious than at the state level.
What an elite a$$hole.
>>The opposition will have a lot of people believing Walker is a dumb uneducated bumpkin.<<
Only the ones (Democrats) who want to believe it. They’ll insult a lot of traditionally Democrat voters along the way, however.
If Walker hadn’t won three hotly-contested elections in a purple state known for its respect for education, you might have a point. But he did, and you don’t. It simply wasn’t an issue in any of his elections, although the Dems certainly raised it.
There are reasons to worry about Walker’s candidacy but finishing only 3 years of college isn’t one of them.
I come to expect that of the few rabid HDS sufferers who cry like babies on the smallest comments while making the most vile attacks themselves.
Btw I am not getting paid, you are just seriously crazy.
