I actually pity Josh in a way. He grew up in that stifling hellhole with no outlet. He went way to far with his desires, for whatever reason. That said, what is done cannot be undone.

Well, I’m not going to endorse that, LOL. But another factor to consider is whether Josh himself was abused, and if so, by whom.
There are plenty of young men brought up in oppressive religious households. They don’t all turn to underaged children for their sexual pleasure. He made a choice.
All kids at puberty should be informed that once they come of age, they need to avoid any suggestion of sexuality with little children or THEIR LIVES WILL BE OVER FOREVER. Yes, even if you are 14 or 16 you can receive sex offender status for life. As it should be.

So just to be clear, you think the problem here is Gothard NOT teaching these parent to take their teenage son to prostitutes for a sexual outlet?
