Actually, in California, a red-light camera ticket is $500. The majority of cities with all the cameras are in low-income areas, like Santa Ana. That city has red light cameras at almost every intersection. Santa Ana is basically a low-income area. What they have done is an outrage. The tickets are probably a month’s rent. This is not right, I don’t care who you are, they are preying on those who can’t fight back.
