Before anyone else tells me that the North(Federal Government) did not tax exports, you are right, the were called “Tarriffs” and the commerce clause was amended in 1830 to allow this. You need to learn how to read and do your own research.

Also, no amendments were ratified between the 12th in 1804 and the 13th in 1865.
DEFINITION of 'Tariff' A tax imposed on imported goods and services. Tariffs are used to restrict trade, as they increase the price of imported goods and services, making them more expensive to consumers.
Your history is even worse than your spelling. There was no 'export' Tariff then --- only an import tariff, which BTW, the Confederate Congress also imposed during their first session.
