I find that those who are often calling for the strongest penalties on certain sins are often guilty of those particular sins themselves.

The same can certainly be said for those who zealously defend certain sinners and/or sins.

I’m not defending him. He has done wrong, but I am keeping his sin in perspective with what the Bible teaches that we should be doing about those who do sin.

Whether you want to accept it or not, the unwillingness to forgive sin is considered a greater sin than the offense itself. Those who won’t forgive will not be forgiven.
