“One of the bikers here described their fights as sort of like wet towel fights in the locker rooms.”
I have no beef with any of the various motorcycle groups.
My personal opinion is that veterans, Christian, recovery, Patriot types of groups (good guys), should not give cover for the bad guys, like this get-together.
Human nature includes some vicarious thrill seeking. Some of the good guys like the rebel imagery, and probably get some thrills vicariously from their associations with the bad guys.
That doesn’t make them bad guys too, instead merely foolish guys.
I agree with your post.
What I don’t understand is how these good bikers are denying that the Bandidos rule and that the fact of more than 50 Cossacks riding into a Bandidos meeting wearing a Bandidos patches was not the source of the trouble.
And anytime there is trouble between the gangs they blame it on the undercover informants in the gangs!
This earth contains many things that reflect aspects of God, or how the devil has stolen them for his own selfish glory.
Christian gospel riders come at the matter from a different standpoint. This is about reclaiming what the devil had claimed and offering it back to God. They do not rail at 1%ers but rather urge them to ride God’s way; to declare Jesus rather than Satan as their master.
One way they do this is to urge grace. Revenge is easy. It also is a thing that will come boomeranging right back at you, per the divine declaration itself. But grace is repaid too.
In this coarse, worldly brawl, sometimes people don’t see this.
