According to the CDC 1.6 percent of adults self-identify as gay or lesbian, and 0.7 percent consider themselves bisexual.

These are "zebra" and "unicorn" numbers. (Noisy zebras and unicorns, but there aren't a lot of them around. Maybe "howler monkeys" is a better comparison.)

Not the way news/media/film/television/internet, and just about every third person feels... We should care since it is being used as a means to crush religious expression and freedom.

We should care when small business are being put out of business for their views!
