I didn’t do anything wrong.
I will not take a test, nor will I apply for a license.
California, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, and Virginia all would have been key states in calling for more gun control.
How or why would ISIS all on their own select states which would be key to more gun control?”
And those states and their citizens will reap what they have sown.
The amendments are a bill of RIGHTS.
I don’t need a permit or a license for the first RIGHT.
...or the 3rd RIGHT
...or the 4th or the 5th...
Why do I need a permit or a license for the 2nd?
‘Cause “Sticks and stones............. and guns can put your eye out. Or something. I don’t know it must be a mental thing with the lefty libs out there.
Yeah... the gangsters, drug dealers, THUGS, common street criminals and sociopaths that normally buy their guns in an ally trading for a sack of cocaine will go right out and get a proper license and permit so that they can have a legally obtained firearm for which to knock off a liquor store with... as long as there is no “gun free” sign posted near the store, of course. They wouldn’t want to break a municipal ordinance while committing a felony.
Liberalism is a mental disorder.
Okay. I’ll submit to testing for my right to self-defense when we go to voter ID and basic civics testing for every election.
Problem: Just possessing a gun is a felony in some jurisdictions. They'd love THAT law!
My solution to all firearm laws: I’ll accept whatever restriction you want to place on ownership of firearms if I get to make an equivalent restriction in order to be eligible to vote.
If a gun requires a background check and a waiting period, so does a voter registration.
If a gun owner has to pass a licensing test to own a gun, a voter has to pass a literacy and history test to be eligible to vote.
If a gun owner is required to a pay a fee to get a gun license, then voters have to pay a fee to vote.
I would like to read that test. I’ll bet it’s designed with so many stupid and illogical questions that gun owners can only pass it if they pay off the system.
To restrict (or prevent) an individual the ability to protect themselves and/or their family is a crime in itself.
Because gun control works so well reducing shootings in Chicago!
“California, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, and Virginia all would have been key states in calling for more gun control.”
I’m not so sure about Michigan, but here in Virginia, I don’t think there would be any support for increased gun control after a terrorist attack, even in my blue northern Virgina neighborhood. Every now and then, a twinkie gets hyperventilated over constitutionally open-carry, but the legislature has been regularly improving the firearms laws. About 6% of adults in VA have a CHP, and given that the preponderance of those are men, about one out of ten adult males could be carrying concealed at any given time.
I would expect any terrorist in Virginia would just cross the Potomac for a softer target in DC or Maryland.
California you have the mother of gun control, Feinstein.
Illinois you have Chicago which is loosing every legal challenge to gun control. Need for federal regulations.
Michigan you have the largest number of muslims outside of the middle east and as Obama said should the winds turn he would side with muslims. Had the attack in Texas been successful talk of fears of reprisal against muslims by “right wing extremist gun nuts” would have been the main talking point of the MSM.
Virginia and Maryland it’s the areas around DC with the political elite that will do anything to protect themselves.
All areas are key to gun control.
ISIS has no interest in gun control.
ISIS didn’t pick the states to be targeted.
Someone with interest in gun control picked the states.
21st century version of the democrats poll tax or literacy test, no difference.
That doesn't sound like Chicago has tough gun laws
(Those who can't read cursive)
If you bring a tort case and lose, then the plaintiff attorney should be shot.
I like my law better. Let’s do mine first.
You don’t “pass a test” to get an F.O.I.D. in Illinois, unless you consider a back ground check a test. Having an F.O.I.D. does not allow you to carry any gun, only to own one.
