>Muslims worship a false god.
[paladinan]
No, they do not. They worship the One True God, but they worship Him in almost complete ignorance of His True Nature...
[RnMomof7]
They do not worship the triune God of the Bible.. like the Mormons they have a false God.. they are "just not wrong on this one point" ..they have a completely false god..
Well... by that logic, Protestants worship a false God... since they don't accept Jesus (i.e. God) truly present in the Holy Eucharist. If someone doesn't worship the God-made-Flesh in the bread-made-flesh, then that someone is (by the reasoning you mention) worshiping a false god.
Go learn about Islam and get your eyes opened...
:) Ahhhhh, yes. The "you're blind, get your eyes opened" rhetoric. I was expecting that, eventually. It's often a straw at which desperate debaters clutch.
CCC 841 teaches heresy and manifest error.
Thank you for your personal opinion. Now... could you prove your case?
It teaches that Catholics worship the false god of Islam.
No, it does not. It teaches that the Muslims worship the One True God (albeit very badly, in abysmal ignorance, tainted with innumerable errors), the personal and strident opinions of RnMomof7 notwithstanding.
They do not have a god that saves to the outermost either ...like Muslims they need to work their way to heaven...
Someone hasn't been paying attention. Look up "Pelagianism", and look up when it was condemned by the Catholic Church. (Hint: over 1000 years before Luther was born.)
and ask them about "baptism by blood" ..heaven by being martyrs for the "faith"
It might be a good idea to ask, especially given the misunderstandings that many Protestants have about them. What would you like to ask?
