Actually, police intervention was minimal because the Mayor instructed the police to “give space”. The National Guard came because they were requested by the Governor, not the Mayor.

Wrong, Baltimore’s dam-dem mayor finally made the request to Gov. Hogan (R) to send in the Guard. Hogan had conferred with Guard command at the outset of rioting and they had been placed on alert. Hogan’s broadcast announcement made mention that his executive order had been waiting for the mayor’s request and would be “signed within thirty seconds” after the call.

Don’t try to shift the responsibilty ala Katrina ravaged Louisiana.

The damneddems screwed up royally both times, their SOP.
