Here’s the issue that I’d like to get your help with: early reports were that the attackers were armed with AK-47s with 75 round drum magazines. Some here have said that is not the case and that at least one of them was armed with a 9mm keltec carbine.
Question is — which is it? or was it something entirely different.
Police today use small “robots” — mostly for investigating suspected bombs. Photos at the scene showed one of them on its side and later, it or another appears to have sustained damage to the point of having lost one of its wheels.
I want to know what happened. Thought you have the experience and contacts to find out.
In cases like this police would use robots for an initial approach of the suspects. A number of bad guys in the past have left bobby traps on their bodies that would detonate as they were taken into custody by LEO’s.
