By the way, if a rock or brick struck the windshield, microscopic amounts of the material from an object will be embedded in the windshield at point of impact.

If a brick went THROUGH the windshield and bounced off the engineer's head the brick would be found laying on the floor of the engineer's cab somewhere. The NTSB did inspect the controls and vicinity of where he was working, didn't they?

Absolutely. If an object compromised and penetrated the windshield, there will be material from the impact object inside engine cab and embedded in the windshield.

They wont’ find anything like that IMO.

The excuses coming in for this engineer are at least humorous.

We’ve got a projectile attack, terrorist passengers sneaking up knocking him out...The union says he worked too many hours and was fatigued.

This is all BS IMO.
