My cuz’ serves close to the DMZ. The mentality of the troops there is that that they are “really” not protecting the countries where they’re stationed but to actually checkmate China.
“Checkmate” is a win. Check is not. Certainly Obama has the opposite desire to being able to keep China in check, much less try to checkmate them.
