Thought I'd post this righteous police shooting as a counterpoint to all the negative publicity bouncing around. This one was unquestionably necessary and saved the lives of at least two innocent people.

Far as I’m concerned, anyone who takes a hostage has fully earned a bullet.

Amazing shot. From the article:

“Boulder County sheriff’s Deputy Jeffrey Brunkow — who was about 40 yards away — had a view of Vang through the magnified scope of his department-issued rifle. When Brunkow saw Vang raise the handgun to the back of William Lor’s head, Brunkow fired one shot that went through a gap in the open door and the car frame and struck Vang in the head, killing him instantly.”

He’s lucky he didn’t shoot a mountain lion, otherwise he would have served 25 years hard labor!

“alleged”. “suspect” Did they not see him have hostages and almost kill them? What’s this PC reporting? I know that legally a person is not guilty until proven in a court of law, but in reality, if you see this, and the police have to shoot him for his crimes, it seems ludicrous.
