Threat was made that a bomb would go off today at an Australian Parliament. Federal and state Parliaments being searched. New South Wales Parliament House is near Martin Place.

Man arrested in Martin Place after reports of a suspicious item. Police say he is in custody and assisting police with inquiries. Operation is concluded. They say not terror related. Hopefully no real problem then.

Last night I was watching TV ( I rarely do since TV stinks so bad, which makes time to FReep), but the live show was stopped because of a bomb threat and instead they put on a movie. Don’t know from who the threat came.

Police say he is in custody and assisting police with inquiries. Assuming that Australia has something resembling a 5th Amendment one could suspect that he's not actually "assisting".
