I have seen that proposed before. But what does it mean? Do you want Jordan to take over the West Bank? Or do you want Palestinians now living on the West Bank to move to Jordan?
As an aside, in practice neither interpretation would be workable, IMHO.

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. The borders between Jordan, Syria, Turkey and Egypt is not entirely precise. If a sentry on duty at one of those borders accidentally puts his foot over the line by an inch, there’s no need to go to war over it.

Basically, it sounds like the Pope is being what is called in Yiddish a kochlefel, or cooking spoon, or somebody who exists to stir things up.
This Pope is a bit of a left wing wacko so he sides with Muslims against Israel. Maybe he will join a BDS group.
