Telling your kid “Just don’t do it!” sounds like a wonderful idea - until your kid gets knocked up or infected. This isn’t the world you grew up in and teens are always doing things their parents don’t know about.

You’re still shoveling a load of crap and trying to call it ice-cream.

Where did I ever imply that proper teaching is telling your kid “Just don’t do it”? Does one teach a kid not to smoke by puffing away while saying “Just don’t do it?” Doesn’t your specious argument apply to smoking just as much as it does to sex? And smoking is declining in younger generations....why the heck is that? Isn’t abstinence EXACTLY what they’re teaching regarding cigarettes? Don’t teens “just want to smoke” like they “just want to have sex”? Your argument is foolish and fallacious on it’s face.

I will say this - I don’t know of a single one of my cousins or siblings that smokes - and not one of their parents smoked....FREAKING AMAZING COINCIDENCE.

Your ignorance regarding raising children should not be license for another person, completely ignorant about sex, to teach my children about it.

And yeah - I did a lot of things that my folks didn’t know about, but one of them was not sticking my whing-ding into some girl’s whoha, or taking drugs, or smoking, or underage drinking (nor did any of my sibs). And my parents taught us that.
