John Graves Simcoe was a very complex man. A brutal warrior, staunch abolitionist, and is believed to have sent the first ever Valentine’s day card (To Anna Strong’s sister)
Also a great and complex character is Robert Rogers.

The guy that plays Simcoe is the main bad guy in the show “Sleepy Hollow”. I haven’t been keeping up with it, but I’m guessing he will get it on that show.
