Watch the CNN coverage of this crash. They are going out of their way to avoid talking about the engineer.
As of right now the engineer has lawyered up and is refusing to cooperate with the investigation. I was just watching Anderson Cooper interview someone in charge of the investigation who said we should not jump to conclusions and be as considerate as possible towards the engineer. Why? Because he is gay?
Compare this attitude when a police officer is involved in a shooting. Within an hour of a police related shooting, the officer is found guilty in the court of public opinion and that is it.
Now we have an engineer who has lawyered up and refuses to answer questions. Why do you suppose? Imagine a police officer involved in a shooting refusing to cooperate in an investigation and hiding behind a lawyer. What would we conclude.
CNN reported that when the engineer was asked how fast he was going, he said he could not remember. What?
So the fact that he was gay is relevant. Why?
Could he have been texting? Could he have been working on the gay agenda? Could he have been doing some sex thing while the train was blasting down the line? Are they coddling this engineer because he is gay?
You have to admit, lawyering up right away and refusing to answer questions is really, really bad. Almost admitting to guilt right away. This is the kind of behavior you engage in when you were doing something wrong.
If this guy was not doing his job but something else then he is criminally responsible and in huge huge trouble.
I am wondering why they are treating the engineer so nicely. Something very, very wrong there. And if this guy is indeed gay or doing some weird gay stuff while on the job wow. Imagine how they are trying to avoid reporting this.
The fact that he lawyered up immediately is very, very suspicious and a bad omen.
They are going out of their way to avoid talking about the engineer....
Yes early today the Mayor was speaking...and he made a slip, where he said the Conductor was running the train, later he corrected that, by saying he was confused and it an engineer driving the train....I wonder???
You should always lawyer up, guilty or not. That said, he is somehow responsible for the crash.
Just because jackasses attack cops right away isn’t an excuse to be a jackass yourself. (I mean that generally, not you specifically)
He also initially told investigators that he couldnt recall how fast the train was going, then he lawyered up..he can keep his fat trap shut but the feds are going to demand those phone records, either he was talking on the phone or sexting and they will match the time to the time of the accident and then everything will make sense
The fact that he lawyered up immediately is very, very suspicious and a bad omen.
I am fairly sure the BLET local made sure to have a lawyer appointed right away for their union brother.
