I wasn't thinking of that, just that both crashes occured with the plane and train moving in a dangerous manner that could only have ended in disaster. Either catastrophic mechanical failure, human error, or human intent. We now know the pilot deliberately crashed the plane, and several others in this thread have also made that connection to the Amtrak crash.

Some here have posted information suggesting that the German pilot might have been struggling with homosexual tendencies, even though he had girlfriends, etc.

yes....I guess the facts will never be known....but he was called Tomato, by his colleagues, and male cabin crew do have a reputation
