The trade deal was back on track Wednesday afternoon, just a day after hitting the skids in a Democratic filibuster, after leaders struck a bipartisan agreement to move forward.
Democratic senators lost their bid to have four trade-related bills combined into a single measure, but did secure the chance to have votes related to all four bills, giving them the platform they wanted.

>>...you can bet your bottom dollar that the GOPe got the crappy end of the stick.<<
It is the GOP handing over it’s authority.
Yes Cruz is for this.
It’s a trojan horse to destroy America
This power would allow Obama to flood the USA with hundreds of millions of 3rd world immigrants:
I will go instead with what Senator Jeff Sessions has to say on this: Sen. Jeff Sessions: Top Five Concerns With Trade Promotion Authority

Cruz is in favor of giving the president fast track authority.
These guys never learn!
” Can anyone confirm for sure his position on this?”
Names are.
What they do.
Your English is seldom.
So Cruz is going to vote for a bill he cannot even view????
WOW!
This is just like passing Obama Care. You have to pass it in order to find out what is in it.
Adios Cruz!
Yes, thanks.
I always wait for someone who is unable to form a sentence in English to tell me how to vote.
Every time.
It's not "free trade;" it's "heavily-managed-and-massively-unbalanced free trade."
kindly remind me WHERE THIS IS ALLOWED IN THE CONSTITUTION..???????
Bingo! Outstanding point!
Free Trade = Rigid Trade
Meaning the USA still pays tariffs and other countries like China does not.
For those wondering who voted in favor of this demonic bill, I give my FRiends the list. I have a friend who emailed Senator Ted Cruz’s Chief of Staff Paul Teller about Ted Cruz’s vote. I hope he gets a timely answer.

I posted the list below of the Senate votes.
Graham and Rubio chickened out and didn’t vote proving they are the slimest most fake cowards
This is disturbing.
The Democrats are voting against because it sends jobs overseas.
The Republicans are for it because it takes Tariffs away. However, it only takes Tariffs away from the USA. We still pay Tariffs to other countries.
So businesses will leave because of cost of employees, taxes and regulation.
The TPP will allow U.S. I.T. workers to be replaced by H1B immigrants. It gives companies a tax cut to replace U.S. I.T. workers with foreigners here in the USA. Plus the foreigners work for 1/3 the cost. Disney recently replaced their entire I.T. group of U.S. workers with H1B workers.
The U.S. workers had to train their replacements in order to get their severance pay.

Guess you have to pass it to find out what is in it?
The Republicans who voted for this travesty have shot themselves in the foot. The Red Flag of pocket lining money is out on the tracks. The Republican Party, on board the disaster-bound Amtrak Train 188, is asleep at 106 mph.
There will be an alternative to these . . . . . (I leave a place to fill in the blank).
They are not supporting Zer0. They have to be lining their pockets. No doubt about it.
If Obola is for it, it’s bad for the country. More Trojan horse legislation. Nothing this administration proposes should be passed in the next 17 mos.
