Yeah - CNN was showing a picture (maybe a few pictures, wasn’t paying attention to the screen) that Murphy had tweeted from the train.
i wonder if chris matthews will stoop like a typical ahole again and accuse the engineer of being a member of the tea-party.
That I was told while being on an Amtrack train when it had to stop for that very reason.
Here is more stuff from the Blaze:

Worth noting, in this case, that the vast majority of the Northeast Corridor (and the entire run between DC and NYC) is run along Amtrak’s own tracks, not CSX tracks.

NOW: @PhillyPolice just confirmed nine @Amtrak cars involved in derailment to dispatch.
A lot of tracks around Philly are also used by SEPTA (local commuter rail), so you have three different entities sharing the rails. They do a pretty complex dance every day to manage the traffic, and it doesn't take much to have a serious screw up. Fortunately, trains generally go relatively slowly in that area... which probably helped a lot.

Scene Commander just called for EXPLOSIVE-DETECTING CANINES Immediately!!
Thanks for posting. There seem to be a lot of them lately. One FReeper always kept an eye on train wrecks. Very soft targets?
R.I.P.
Thank-you for refreshing my memory!
Twitter:
Action News’ @DannCuellar now being told number of injured near 60, many “serious,” and there are “unconfirmed dead.”
Scanner just called for all wagons that transported wounded to contact hq “immediately”
Sounds like they are trying to get a count.
Not very good.
I had to refresh my own memory, figured it might be of interest...
thats very Deep Stoop Indeed.
I think they only put 8 cars on each acela. but i could be wrong.
Editor’s note: We’re seeing some reports of fatalities at the site of the Amtrak train derailment in Philadelphia. At this point, officials have not confirmed any deaths. We’re watching for more. - Jillian

I rode on the Acela in November from Boston to Norfolk, VA, never thought something like this would happen, hope no one was killed.
Per Twitter, this was a train of AmFleet cars, not ACELA.
